Pan fried quails with orange and carob syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless quails
  • 1 orange
  • 50g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 leek
  • 100g cabbage
  • 1 rasher bacon
  • 10ml carob

Method

Marinate the quails with orange and carob syrup. (Marinate for at least 10 minutes) Meanwhile, finely chop the onions, garlic, leeks, cabbage and bacon and shallow fry for 5 minutes .In a separate pan cook the quails for 3 minutes on each side and serve together with shallow fried vegetables.
