Beef and mushroom stir-fry with kale


  • 400g sliced beef rump or 1 minute steak
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce (Blue Dragon)
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce (Blue Dragon)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (Blue Dragon)
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger (Blue Dragon)
  • 200g mixed mushrooms, sliced
  • Few leaves curly kale, roughly cut
  • Cooked rice for serving


Start this recipe by mixing together the oyster sauce and soy sauce and put aside. Next, heat the sesame oil in a wok and quickly flash-fry the meat strips for just a minute. Remove from the pan. In the same pan fry the garlic, ginger and sliced onion for 2-3 minutes. Add in the sliced mushrooms and fry for another 2 minutes before adding in the soy and oyster sauce mixture, the cooked beef and the kale and cook for just 1 minute. Remove off the heat and serve immediately with warm cooked rice.
