TVM – GO EUROSHOW BOX

GO Euroshow box was a race for the 20 contestants who were competing for the opportunity to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 held in Russia.

It was the first time that P.B.S. took over the whole Malta Song for Europe Organisation. The show was presented by Valerie Vella and ACELINE Production House was the official organisor, together with the advisory team from P.B.S., where after the elimination process there was a total of 56 songs, with 8 songs performing per programme, competing to the semi-final.

A group of judges picked 15 songs where the other 5 were chosen from a televoting process. Out of the total 20 songs that made it to the semi –finals, the winner to present Malta in the Eurovision 2009 was Chiara with her song title ‘What If We’

Running for approximately 1 hours, GO Euroshowbox was a fun Saturday night show, bursting with talent, bringing the viewers various entertainment with a variety of local talent from bands, entertainers, illusionists and dancers.
