Heat the oven to 200`c and line a 20cm x 20cm square tin with baking paper. Place the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and butter in a bowl and rub together until the mixture resembles a large crumb. Stir in the oat flakes followed by the egg until the mixture just begins to bind together. Place 2/3 of the mixture into the prepared cake tin and press down well. In another bowl, mix together the strawberries, sugar and corn flour and spoon on top of the pastry base. Finish off by covering with the remaining crumb mixture and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
