Quick chocolate mousse


  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 300ml cream
  • 2 eggs
  • Vanilla essence
  • Tot of liqueur
  • Cocoa powder
  • Fresh strawberries


Melt the chocolate with the butter over a bain-marie. Whisk the cream with the sugar and vanilla. Separate the eggs and whip the egg whites. Allow the chocolate to cool slightly, whisk in the yolks. Fold the chocolate to the cream and finally fold in the whites. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses, garnish with the strawberries and sprinkle with the cocoa powder.
