Medjool dates with ġbejniet and pancetta


  • 20 medjool dates
  • 2 plain gbejniet (Benna)
  • 20 walnut halves
  • 20 slices thin pancetta
  • 12 fancy wooden skewers


Slit the dates and remove the stones. Stuff the dates with the goats` cheese and half a walnut. Close up then wrap a slice of pancetta around each date. Stick in a wooden skewer into each date, place onto a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes at 200`c until the pancetta is golden.
