Terms and Conditions
All entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Details about the 2012 DELICATA & AROMA KITCHEN 5 STAR LUXURY GOURMET WEEKEND FOR TWO PERSONS AT THE HILTON MALTA Prize Draw Competition as communicated by means of retail point of sale printed material and TV advertising form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final.
This prize draw competition is open for its duration from 20th January 2012 to 3rd July 2012 to entrants purchasing Emmanuel Delicata wines in the commercial outlet where the prize draw competition is promoted, either in Malta or Gozo, who are 17 years of age or over, except anyone professionally associated with the prize draw competition.
The prize consists strictly of only a two night stay at The Hilton Malta for two persons, in a deluxe sea view room including breakfast and two evening dinners, but excluding transfers or transportation to and from the hotel. There are no runners’ up prizes. No cash or other alternatives to the prize will be offered and the prize is not transferable. The prize must be taken before 1st December 2012, and exclusion periods may apply. All elements of the prize are subject to availability. Emmanuel Delicata’s together with Aceline Entertainment Ltd’s decision on the prize details is final.
There will be one winning entry which will be randomly selected from all correctly completed entries from all participating outlets jointly and only from those showing the correct answer to the skill test and having a attached a receipt for any Delicata wine purchased. One blank entry ticket per wine (bottle or pack) to be completed shall be handed over to the purchaser at the cash point of the respective participating outlet. Once completed a receipt must be attached and then sent to Delicata Aroma Kitchen Competition. Aroma Kitchen, 11 Triq is-Siegh, lbragg SWQ 2400. The winner will be drawn and announced live on the Aroma Kitchen TV programme aired on One, Thursday 5th July 2012 and the winner will be notified within 14 days of the draw for the prize draw competition.
Entries that are not compliant may be disqualified. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. Emmanuel Delicata together with Aceline Entertainment Ltd reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw competition.
There will be one overall winner from all the entries received.
The winner will be drawn from all entries received by the closing date, which is 5th July 2012.
The draw will take place live on the Aroma Kitchen TV programme aired on One (TV station) on Thursday 5th July 2012.
Emmanuel Delicata’s together with Aceline Entertainment Ltd’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with the following exception: the winner’s name can be obtained by contacting Emmanuel Delicata Winemaker Ltd or Aceline Entertainment.
Events may occur that render the prize draw competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd and accordingly Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the Competition and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd as a result thereof. Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting, not claiming or refusing any prize.
Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Maltese data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent. The winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Emmanuel Delicata and Aceline Entertainment Ltd reserves the right to use the name and address of the winner, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Aceline Entertainment Ltd for a reasonable period after the competition closes to assist Aceline Entertainment Ltd to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Competition.
Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd cannot accept responsibility, and entrants agree not to hold the retailer and/or Emmanuel Delicata and/or Aceline Entertainment Ltd responsible for any of the following:
a. Entries which, although submitted by an entrant, are not received by Emmanuel Delicata or Aceline Entertainment Ltd;
b. Lost or delayed prize notifications;
c. Any event outside Emmanuel Delicata’s or Aceline Entertainment Ltd’s reasonable control which may disrupt the competition;
d. Any loss or damage which may arise directly or indirectly from this competition and the prize(s).
The competition and rules will be governed by Maltese law and any disputes arising out of the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta. Anyone accessing the company’s website outside of Malta for further details is responsible for compliance with all local laws.
